Door to Door Deliveries

Parcel Monkey customers can now enjoy this flexible, easy to use and cost-effective service.

The driver will bring the address label to put on your item and it will then be delivered the next working day.

What is the DX door to door service?

This is a collection and delivery service provided by DX where items will be collected and then delivered during the next working day which excludes weekends and bank holidays.

What are the steps for a DX collection?

Please ensure you have packed your item correctly beforehand. A DX courier will arrive with a delivery address label to be attached to the box. Please check the delivery address on the label is correct. The DX driver will then request a signature confirming collection.

What happens if I have booked multiple collections?

The DX courier will arrive with a separate label for each collection you have booked. It is your responsibility to ensure each item has the appropriate label attached before signing and handing the items over to the DX courier.

What time will the DX courier arrive for a collection?

Unfortunately we cannot specify an exact time for collection. However generally, the DX courier will arrive between 8am to 6pm. Please ensure someone is available to provide a signature after collection.

Can I leave the item outside for the DX courier to pick up if I am not at home?

No someone must be at the collection address to provide a signature for the collection.

What happens if my item:

  • Is too large to be collected?
  • Weighs above 20kg?
  • Is noted on the Parcel Monkey restricted items list?

If you specified the dimensions correctly when you booked, your item should be collected. However be aware that the DX courier will refuse to collect any oversized, overweight or unsuitable items. If this occurs, you will need to contact our customer support team to cancel and rebook your item on a suitable carrier.

Please note should any oversized, overweight or unsuitable items be identified after collection, the item may be returned to you or delivery will be subject to additional charges.

What happens if nobody is at home when the DX courier arrives to collect the item?

The DX courier will post a card which contains instructions on rebooking your delivery with Parcel Monkey. Please dispose of the card once you have rebooked collection.

When will my item be delivered?

Delivery will be attempted within two working days of collection. We cannot specify an exact time, but generally the DX courier will arrive between 8am to 6pm.

What happens if nobody is at home when the DX courier arrives to deliver the item?

The DX courier will either try to post the item, deliver to one of your neighbours or find a suitable place to leave it at your address. A calling card will be posted so you know where to find the item or how to arrange redelivery if the DX courier has been unable to deliver.
