Do you really need one?
The main reason that our competitors offer voucher codes is that they're unable to provide constant prices as low as ours. They hope that if they give their customers a promotional code they'll think they're getting a great offer - perhaps one that's not even beatable? Often the truth is something different.
And if you don't want to read the detail below. You might like to know for next day the UK parcel delivery we're 13% cheaper than our main competitor - even when they offer a voucher code!
We prefer to give you extremely cheap parcel delivery prices all day, every day. Our goal is to offer you the best and cheapest courier services 365 days a year - not when as a gimmick to hook you on to our offering. We hope our prices, convenience and service levels achieve that.
You probably wouldn't believe me, but when I went to confirm how cheap we were, the first comparison was a 10kg parcel delivered next day, within the UK, which was 20cm cubed. Our price was £7.45+vat, for the same service competitor #1 would charge you £8.99+vat, and competitor #2 would charge you £9.90. Even if they threw in a 5% voucher code, that would still be £8.54 and £9.41 - for the number crunchers among you, that works out at 14.5% and 26.3% more expensive than us - even with a discount*!
The lesson to be learnt here is that it's important to look at the true cost of parcel delivery and not to be sucked into a headline rate. And that includes the level of protection cover - ours is £50 free (over 15kg). - make sure you check what others are charging.
And we're not only the cheapest for the UK parcel delivery but also for international parcel delivery - for the same dimensions, I randomly chose Romania as the destination for Parcelforce Priority Europe our price would be £35.49, competitor #1 would be £35.99 + vat and competitor #2 doesn't offer this service. If you wanted your parcel to be sent via DHL you could have a very cheap four-day Road Express service at just £30.70, or a 1-2 day service for £56.09, competitor #1 would charge you £58.73 and competitor #2 would be over £80.
It's just simpler for everyone if we just offer the cheapest prices. We hope you agree!
