Sure, we can help with radiators.
We often get customer queries about whether or not you can request a courier to ship a radiator to another address in the UK. Thankfully radiators are sturdier than other items we have included in our list of prohibited items and hence we generally can offer a courier to transport them for you. For heavier radiators, this is often transported by our partners at DX.
Of course, that depends on the dimensions of the radiator - without any water or oil it. If we take a typical radiator plus packaging at 180cm long, 85cm tall, and 25cm deep and weighing 120kg that would cost £49.99+vat.
Or if you're in London it could cost as little as £15.44.
If you're looking for the delivery of a small radiator, perhaps an attractive Victorian cast iron one, that may measure when packaged 100cm x 30cm x 85cm and weigh 20kg. This heater would cost in the region of £43.49 +vat for the specialist heavy item couriers at Nightlight, although we do have other couriers that could help.
Unfortunately, our prices are based on next day delivery (if booked before 4pm) and if the item to be transported is deemed to require more than one person to help it then someone may need to assist the driver. You will be notified of this during the booking process. Typically this weight is 30kg.
Due to numerous reasons, the couriers can only deliver to your doorstep, so, unfortunately, they cannot carry your radiator upstairs or into another room.
Are there are, but often have to change them slightly to reflect in switching costs, but 50kg of weight is often less than £50+vat to transport? While items at around 15kg can often be couriered by a greater variety of parcel delivery companies and can cost as little as £9.49+vat.
