Here are some examples of prices to send a parcel to Yemen. We have many options, so for a personalised quote please enter the weight of your item into the quote box below.
The Republic of Yemen is an Islamic nation in Western Asia and is bordered by Saudi Arabia and Oman and across the Red Sea from Djibouti and Eritrea and on the opposite side of the Gulf Aden from Somalia.
Unlike many other countries in the region, the population of Yemen is mainly grouped into tribes - especially so in the north of the state.
Despite the North and South being unified in 1990, greater strength in numbers hasn't translated necessarily into economic success as the larger Republic suffers high levels of unemployment and low relative levels of natural resources to exploit for foreign currency. Currently, it relies very heavily on the exportation of oil, however, this supply is expected to run out during 2017.
In terms of prices and the length of time it takes to deliver parcels to Yemen, you should expect to pay anywhere from about £60 for a small, light parcel to over £250 for a much heavier one and between three and four full days for delivery. We offer DHL Express delivery to Yemen so you can enjoy a discounted delivery rate, plus you can track the parcel until it arrives in cities such as Sana'a or Aden.
The Customs Authority of Yemen website does offer some information in relation to prohibited items, but not a great deal. It is expected that you are prohibited to import pork-related products, coffee, alcohol, some fresh fruit and vegetables etc.
You should always provide a working local contact number of the recipient. Complete the customs form in the booking process when you place the order, print them out and secure them to the outside of the box in a clear plastic wallet or envelope.
Super quick collection and didnt have to wait around the whole day. The carrier was very polite and helpful.
package was 3 weeks late
App very easy to use, provides a large selection of postal services. Choose collection day , with delivery very prompt.
Okay. the parcel was of an unusual size, quite restricted with who would take it. The service was quite expensive. An over abundance of info received from the carrier DHL. The impression was a home delivery wasnt an option so I chose a collection from a convenient pick up point. Again the DHL site was very confusing when it came to the actual delivery. In point of fact I could of have it delivered to my home, but this appeared not to be an option. Overall I would use the service again where no other option is available.
