The Czech Republic is one of many landlocked countries in central Europe with Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Austria surrounding it.

The former Communist state joined NATO in 1999 and then the European Union in 2004 - of course this means no additional import or export restrictions. This doesn't, however, mean that we can take for granted that we can freely send parcels to the Czech Republic without a thought to any rules and regulations that may prevail. You will see during the booking process that there will be a Pro Forma Invoice (pdf) that you'll need to fill out for the customs authority.
