We all know how expensive golf clubs can be and how precious they are to the people that own them. So the one thing you want to make sure of, when you either gift them as a present or sell them on an auction site such as eBay, is that they arrive safe and secure.
Currently we allow the shipping of golf clubs via our network of courier partners, but only on a non-compensation basis only. Although when they're used on a golf course they're incredibly strong, however, when they pass through the courier services there is still a chance of damage - at a level where we'd suggest that perhaps a courier might not be the best option. As a result if you're willing to use a parcel delivery courier to post your golf clubs then the risk should be balanced on the customer's side than on our or our partners'.
That's not to say we don't want your business, but as a responsible agent we need to make sure you are aware of the risks. As such, we recommend that you read both our list of prohibited items, but also our terms and conditions and then decide if you're willing to take the risk.
Obviously every set is different, but if you're looking to send a full range of quality clubs with a golf bag too then you'll be looking at around £46.79+vat via our partners at Nightfreight.
However, if you're looking a set of irons, properly packaged and without a bag then you will be looking at around £7.49+vat for a next day delivery via City Link.
