City Link Administration

On Christmas Day (25th December) 2014, City Link announced that due to 'substantial losses' the company has gone into administration.

Unfortunately, this means that some Parcel Monkey customers will be affected:

  • Those who have parcels in the City Link network currently
  • Those who have made bookings for collections in the future

Please note that Parcel Monkey compare prices for a number of different courier providers. So although we're unable to offer a City Link service going forward, it's business as usual at Parcel Monkey and we have a selection of alternative courier services available to book online right now with more options coming very soon.



If your City Link booking has been collected but not yet delivered:

The official statement from City Link is that customers are able to collect parcels from depots within the City Link network. You should take all references with you, some photo ID and do this as soon as possible.

You should have been contacted with details of where we believe your items may be in the network. If you think your City Link item has been collected but not yet delivered, please contact our support team to let us know. We strongly advise going to collect your item(s) from the local depot as quickly as possible.


If you had a City Link booking that has not yet been collected

You should have received an email informing you that you will receive a full refund. If you have not received such an email, please contact our support team who can assist you.
