Many courier companies make it incredibly difficult or prohibitively expensive to book a parcel collection from the islands surrounding the UK mainland. We feel that people that are lucky enough to live or work in places such as the Isle of Wight, The Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Herm, Sark and Alderney), Scilly Isles, Isle of Mann, Orkney Isles, Shetlands and all the other Scottish islands should have access to quick, reliable and cost-effective courier services.
For a typical parcel (30cm x 30cm x 30cm x 3kg) to the UK mainland, including most post codes in Scotland, we can offer a next day service for the Isle of Wight for around £15, whereas a one full day service to the other islands will typically cost about £52.79+VAT. If you are looking to send a parcel from the Channel Islands there typically is no VAT to pay.
Currently these services are available solely through City Link, although we are always looking to extend the range of services we offer.
