Useful information for sending a parcel to Portugal

Seeing as Portugal has been a member of the European Union since 1986 they are well versed in helping other EU citizens do business with them. Unfortunately this doesn't extend to having an English version of their customs website and don't have any information to help people with questions who are sending parcels from within the EU.

The definition of 'import' is open to debate, but be careful when sending toys or games containing copper sulphate, items that have flexible metal blade, erasers that look like food (as France prohibits too).
