Useful information for sending a parcel to Poland

Poland joined the EU fairly recently in 2004, but still in that time has become an important trading destination with the UK and as such we send a mixture of business orientated items such as thermostats, printers and the like as well as items more related to the home such as baby strollers, DVDs, XBoxes and the like.

The positive thing about Poland being an EU member is that the process of sending a parcel there is much easier than other non-EU countries. You will still need, however, a properly filled out pro forma invoice (pdf) to accompany your parcel.

The parcel delivery costs to Poland aren't excessive. You can send a fairly light 1kg parcel to all destinations in the country including Warsaw, Poznań, Łódź, Katowice and Gdańsk for just £11.89 for a three day DHL Road Express, or £21.49 via DHL Airmail. Larger parcels could cost £26.77 for a three day service or up-to £85.49 for the DHL Air Express Service.
