What are the advantages of a door-to-door courier service?

There are a good number of advantages of booking couriers that offer a parcel collection and door-to-door service, here's just a few:

• Save yourself some petrol if your local Post Office isn't in walking distance.
• Make someone else carry the burden. If you've got a heavy parcel to be delivered then all you've got to do is get it to the front door of your home and typically your reception if you're a business customer.
• You don't have to brave the Great British weather. Come wind, shine or rain our couriers will collect from you so you don't have to get yourself soaked. Of course, during periods of intense weather phenomena such as the snowy conditions at the beginning of 2011, our couriers may have a few problems getting to you.
• It's included in the price anyway. There wouldn't be much benefit in using Parcel Monkey if you had to go to a courier's depot to drop off a parcel, it's much easier to get our customer's parcels organised if our couriers pop along to your home or premises and collect the parcel from you.
• If you're a business customer, often somebody is there from 8am until 6pm to arrange the collection of the parcel. For the general public it can be a different matter. If you book a same day parcel delivery (from just £5.60) you can choose a fifteen minute time slot and collection can be made in an hour. We can collect 24/7. This is a more expensive service, but if you can't be at home during normal collection times, this is an alternative.
